Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with a railway turntable for a narrow-track spoil cars. The research are describes a basic types of turntables, tracks and mine carts. The next part of this thesis are present a design of a manual turntable. The torque is transmitted by the system of a gears. Critical places of this mechanism are strength checked. The shafts are strength checked for a critical torsion and critical bend. After that are performed strength check for the gears according to relevant standards. In the next chapter of this thesis is described and then selected a suitable slewing bearing. On this slewing bearing are performed a strength check and calculation of the minimal torque, which must causes on the bearing
