Analýza managementu golfového klubu

Abstract

Golf je dnes již velice oblíbenou volnočasovou aktivitou v jakémkoli věku. Dalo by se říci, že golfové hřiště a jeho prostředí je jakousi „oázou pohody“ třeba i uprostřed velkoměsta. A právě takovou oázu nabízí Park golf klub TJ Mittal Ostrava. Ve své práci jsem se zabývala organizací klubu, jeho chodem a financováním. Byl zjištěn jeden hlavní problém. Po průběhu loňské sezóny, kdy rázně zakročil nový majitel části golfového hřiště, se začala řešit otázka rozšíření či vybudování hřiště nového. K tomuto cíli je nutné mít k dispozici dostatečný kapitál. Ziskovost klubu sice neustále stoupá, vzhledem k cílům klubu však velice pomalu. Nedostatečná je známost klubu jak mezi veřejností tak i firmami, i přesto, že funguje již 42 let. Proto jsem se ve své práci snažila přiblížit a objasnit případným zájemcům, ať už firmám či veřejnosti, možnosti které Šilheřovický golfový klub nabízí za rozumné ceny. Samotný rozvoj klubu v současné době závisí převážně na kapitálu vloženém členy klubu. Tyto zdroje nejsou bezedné, proto by se management klubu měl více zajímat o to, jak přilákat nové sponzory a s nimi získat potřebný kapitál.

These days golf has become a very popular free-time activity for people of all ages. It’s possible to say that a golf court and its surrounding is a kind of "well-being oasis" even possibly in the city centre. And such an oasis is offered by the Park Golf Club TJ Mittal Ostrava. In this thesis I have dealt with the club organization, operation and financing. One major problem has been detected. After the last year season, when a new owner of a part of the golf course resolutely intervened, the question of expansion or building a new course has been opened. To accomplish this goal, it’s necessary to have sufficient capital. Profitability of the club is rising, but too slowly considering the goals of the club. Also the familiarity of the club among both public and firms is insufficient, even though it has already been operating for 42 years. Therefore I have tried to outline and explain the possibilities of the Šilheřovice Golf Course offered for reasonable prices to potential interested people, both companies and schema_dspacedb. The very development of the club depends mostly on the capital put in by the club members. This is not, however, a bottomless pit of money – the club management should therefore be more interested in the ways to attract new sponsors and gain the needed capital together with them.
