The introductory part of bachelor's thesis deals with the general introduction of friction, wear and lubrication. The following chapters elucidate the division of basic types of oil and its degradation. The utilization of petroleum products as a source of energy causes the qualitative and quantitative changes of genetic information of an organism. Subsequently, next chapters deal with ecology and standardised measuring methods. Experimental part is dedicated primarily to the conception of lorries, methodology and the results of motor oil analysis.
