Abstract
This thesis deals with the Practical implications of new EU customs legislation and related legal regulations of the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of three parts, the theoretical, the practical and summary of results with proposals and recommendations.
The theoretical part contains the basic terms related to the customs, the customs legislation, the Customs Code of the Commonwealth and the Union Customs Code.
The practical part presents SWOT analysis and matrix plus minus, which describing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of adopting a new Union Customs Codex.
The last part deals with suggestions and recommendations based on SWOT analysis and matrix plus minus
