Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis deals with burnout syndrome as a psychosocial risk among employees of an engineering company. The aim is to determine the level of burnout, compare it between administrative staff and production workers, and identify related factors. The theoretical part defines psychosocial risks, work-related stress, and burnout. The practical part is based
on a quantitative study conducted in an engineering company in January 2026 with 172 respondents. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires (MBI-GS, AWS, PSS-10, WHO-5) and statistically evaluated at a significance level of 5%. The results indicate
a predominantly moderate level of burnout, with higher levels found among production workers. Relationships between stress, psychological well-being, and perceived control over work were confirmed. Based on the findings, recommendations for practice are proposed.
