Abstract

The first part of this thesis describes relevant aspects of design of car latches and testing of these latches. The thesis is focusing on “PWO 1“ test (Pawl walk-out test) and parameters of this test after that. Design requests of a testing tool are given by these testing parameters. Chosen calculations and designs follows (calculations bolted connection,FEM). Finally the thesis is focusing on provisional planning of testing to find out influences of design parameters on the test progress and test results.
