ANNOTATION OF BACHELOR THESIS BAJGAR, P. Using PLC for Control of Rotating Systems. Ostrava: Department of control systems and instrumentation - 352 VŠB-TUO, 2017. 51 pages. Bachelor thesis, supervisor: Škuta, J. The thesis deals with the use of PLC in control of rotational motion. This is an ABB PLC. The software for programming this PLC is CoDeSys. It deals with the connection of the control system with the DC motor control model. The theoretical part describes the programming languages and the graphical environment of CoDeSys and the teaching system of RC-Didactic. Furthermore, a description of the ABB modular system, used processor units and its expansion modules. The interconnection is solved via the unified module created. The next part is the system design of the task and the resources and modules used. In addition, algorithms are designed for controlling the DC motor and regulating it.
