Diploma thesis presents a comparison and evaluation of maintenance management system in engineering companies and opportunities for improvement. In parts of the analysis and assessment of the current state deals with maintenance management systems in different companies and shows their strengths and weaknesses. In the main part of the work shows methodology, which should increase the efficiency of maintenance. The conclusion summarizes proposals to streamline maintenance for individual companies.
