Identifikace preferencí pracovního prostředí generace Z

Abstract

This dissertation focuses on the preferences of Generation Z in their choice of employment. Nowadays, it is increasingly being explored what this generation will demand from their employers. The aim of this thesis is to find out the preferences of final year students when choosing their first job. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to theories of the work environment and characteristics of Generation Z. The practical part is based on 14 interviews with final year students of the Faculty of Economics of VŠB-TU. The results show that the most important aspects for students when choosing a job are the amount of salary, the amount of benefits, friendly working atmosphere, flexible working hours, work-life balance and career growth. The information and suggestions found can help employers better understand the needs and expectations of this generation. The work can then contribute to recruitment strategies and better tailoring of working conditions.
