KONÍČEK, J. Waste Heat Utilization from Cogeneration Units in ORC. Ostrava: Department of Power Engineering, Fakulty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Ostrava, 2013, 60 p. Thesis, supervisor: Ing. Kamil Kolarčík, CSc. This thesis deals with an innovative way to use the waste heat cogeneration units in terms of Green Gas DPB, as Selecting a suitable site in the Ostrava-Karvina district, where the heat is not used and the subsequent deployment of appropriate ORC device. At First I approached the creation and extraction of mine gas and the subsequent problems that this can cause gas in mines, if not exhausted to the atmosphere or used in devices designed for this purpose. I also described cogeneration and waste heat recovery cogeneration units. In the end I calculated the performance of flue gas cogeneration units, which gave me the basis for the design possibilities involvement ORC technology at the selected location. This work also provides a brief look at the economic and environmental aspects of operation ORC.
