Možnosti benchmarkingu ve veřejné správě

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce bylo na základě primárních a sekundárních výzkumů vymezit možnosti a přínosy benchmarkingu pro územní samosprávu na úrovni českých a slovenských měst. Tento cíl byl naplněn v rámci praktické části diplomové práce a na základě všech zjištěných skutečností bylo možné potvrdit stanovenou hypotézu. Tím se potvrdila skutečnost, že benchmarking je považován za standardní metodu zvyšování kvality a výkonnosti v podmínkách českých a slovenských měst. V závěru diplomové práce potom byly shrnuty zjištěné skutečnosti a navrhnuta doporučení. Naproti tomu teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývala charakteristikou benchmarkingu, jeho vznikem, smyslem, kategoriemi, cyklem atd.

The aim of this thesis was on the basis of primary and secondary researches to define the possibilities and the benefits of benchmarking for local government at the Czech and Slovak cities. This aim was fulfilled in the practical part of the thesis and on the basis of all identified facts, the hypothesis was posible to confirm. This was confirmed by the fact that benchmarking is considered for the standard method of improving quality and performance in terms of Czech and Slovak cities. In conclusion of the thesis then all identified facts were summarized and proposed recommendations. In contrast the theoretical part of the thesis dealt with the characteristic of benchmarking, its origin and meaning, categories, cycle etc.
