Stanovení tlakové ztráty na filtru s výměnným sítem, experimentálně a CFD modelováním

Abstract

This thesis has to determinate pressure loss (Δp - Q characteristics) of the flange filter D71 DN 40 L = 200 of company ARMATURY Group a.s. using experimental measurement in the laboratory and CFD modelling. The theoretical part relates to fittings, flange filters, definition of local losses and their measurement. Then there is a description of CFD modelling basics, possibilities of application and basic balance equations. Next, is a brief summary of the porous media, which the wire screens are. In the next part of the thesis, an experimental track with applied elements and measurement methodology is described. The measurement results are evaluated in Excel. The experiment follows the CFD modelling solution in ANSYS - Fluent. The results of both approaches in the examination of Δp – Q characteristics are compared and at the end they are evaluated.
