Abstract
This thesis deals with the engineering design of the heating chamber of a laboratory furnace. The introduction of the thesis contains a technical report specifying equipment requirements, functional structure, morphological matrix, organ structure and gross bulding structure. The calculation part deals mainly with the design of thermal insulation and water cooling. Also documented in the thesis are the technical description of the device, and the construction solution which is in the annex.
