Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to create an application that will use Kinect technology for obtaining motion capture data. The obtained data will also be used in professional 3D tools Blender, which will be extended by an external plugin, so that the scanned data is transmitted and then mapped to the skeleton of a suitably chosen model. During real-time transmission to Blender is it possible to track the movements on the model and data can be stored using keyframes in the timeline, the other option is to store motion capture data into BVH file format. The scanned data are used to create animation.
