Abstract

The thesis describes current state of the paved runway on Zábřeh airfield and suggests its renovation. The first part talks about the airfield’s history and present look including the runway. The second part deals with the legislation and regulation with regard to runway construction and assessment of compliance with these rules. The next part gives a suggestion for runway renovation including the necessary stages and financial calculation. The summary then closes off the thesis by assessing the ratio of financial and other demands versus utilization value.
