The thesis deals with the design of measures that should lower the ammount of solid-material pollution that is produced by the automatic coal-fired boiler Benekov C, owned by BENEKOVterm s.r.o company. The aim is to achieve the parameters of the 5th emission grade according to ČSN EN 303-5. The thesis contains the theoretical part composed of the basic description of the boiler, burning process, heat transfer, legislation, burnt fuel, released pollutants and research and evaluation of possible measures that would lead to the reduction of solid-material pollutants, and following selection, or rather a design of appropriate measures. The calculation part focuses on stechiometry of combustion products and heat calculation of the boiler. The analysis of temperatures and the speed profile after the installation of suggested measures was conducted in the mathematical model. The practical part is focused on measurement of the current status of the boiler, which is followed by the application of suggested measures on the boiler and measurement of temperatures, pressure loss and reduction of TZL. The last part is a design documentation of the solution.
