Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a chain conveyor for Euro pallets, which allows their extension to the sides. In the beginning of the thesis, an analysis of the currently available conveyor systems with the possibility of lateral displacement is carried out. On the basis of this analysis, 3 variants of the solution are critically evaluated and then the most suitable variant is selected. In the main part of the thesis, a detailed structural design of the selected conveyor variant is carried out, including the necessary technical calculations and the created 3D model. The result of the thesis is a chain conveyor that enables handling of a pallet with a weight of 1 500 kg and its subsequent extension to the sides.
