The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design a database of fixtures and its application to the CAD system. The first part of the work is devoted to creating a database of all clamping jigs, which are located at the VŠB department of machining, assembly and engineering metrology and are used by machine operators, they are various machine vices, chucks and clamps. Subsequently, all of these fixtures are modeled using Autodesk Inventor. Finally, all models are imported into the WorkNC CAM system to create more realistic machining simulations.
