Abstract
The thesis, specified by TEMEX s.r.o, deals with The Optimalization of the Frame of the Revolving Table for the Pipe Skirting Machine. After the first frame construction, which was unsatisfactory for its lack of strength, a new, greatly oversized frame construction was designed, which this thesis further deals with. In the introduction, the whole machine is analyzed and all its parts are described. Then, static, modal and transient analyses are conducted in the ANSYS Workbench software. The stress from the skirting process was learned experimentally. This whole experiment is described in detail. In the thesis’s conclusion, an adjusted, considerably lightened construction is designed This new construction was again re-calculated in a similar way to the original construction, with the conclusion that it meets all the requirements. This optimized machine design will save approximately one quarter of the amount of material which will lower its manufacturing costs adequately.
