Abstract

This thesis deals with the machining of base rails with two T grooves. There is a new work procedure designed especially to increase the production efficiency of this product. The test of a new manufacturing process contains the dispatch note with each step of the machining process and also the cutting parameters. This machining process is performed on the milling and the drilling machine FCW150. This machine is controlled by the system SINUMERIK 840D which is used for its scalable hardware and software options. The special milling cutter D68X27 KOT is being used to increase the production efficiency of the T grooves. The original and the new procedure´s production costs of base rails are compared in the technical and economical evaluation.
