This bachelor thesis deals with design of thetwo-jaw brake by lift. This lift si dedicated to the carriage load a dead weight kapacity 2000 kg, nominal speed 0,4 m/s and transport stroke 8m. In the introduction there are indicated oferent consturction possibillities brake by lift, next part is note fission after utilization. Last part is directivity on technics calculations. Production design lift and group design drive is documented in the drawing documentation of bachelor thesis.
