Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a skip hoist for the transport of aggregate to a concrete mixer. The research describes various variants of constructional designs of skip hoists and their practical use, especially in concrete batching plants. According to the knowledge gained from the research, a draft is created, which is further elaborated in the following chapters. First, the capacity and design of the skip bucket are determined, then the rope, rope drum, drive and other necessary components are selected and checked. The welded construction of the skip hoist is verified using the finite element analysis. Lastly, the selected safety features are described. Technical drawings are included in the enclosure of the master thesis.
