Peletizace torrefikovaných materiálů

Abstract

The master thesis is divided into four parts - theoretical, practical, computational and constructional. The heoretical part characterizes biomass and its possible process treatment, pelletization process, types of binders and torrefaction process. This process is described in terms of its development and implementation, as well as the reactors for torrefaction divided according to their design. At the end of the theoretical part, the TAP and PAT processes are compared. The practical part is focused on the preparation and characterization of input materials, torrefaction of input materials, selection of organic binders for torrefied materials, pelletization of torrefied and non-torrefied material, laboratory tests of pellets, comparison and evaluation of different types of pellets and overall evaluation of the PAT process. In the computational part, the annual consumption of pellets for a family house is determined and according to the technical parameters a suitable accumulation device is designed and a boiler for pellet combustion is selected. The following construction section provides an innovation of the equipment for determining the spreading angle.
