Případová studie procesní optimalizace přípravy a automatizace distribuce nástrojových sestav pro proces frézování

Abstract

ŘÍHA, Adam. Case Study of Process Optimization in Tool Preparation and Automation of Tool Assembly Distribution for the Milling Process. Ostrava, 2025, 102 p. Master's Thesis. VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Robotics. Supervisor: Ing. Václav Krys, Ph.D. This thesis focuses on optimizing the process of tool preparation and distribution during milling operations at the Honeywell Aerospace Olomouc s.r.o. production facility. The initial part analyzes the current state, including a description of the milling process, tool preparation, and identification of critical points. Based on this analysis, optimization measures are proposed along with a description of their implementation. The proposed changes are verified through simulation, which assesses their impact on operations. Subsequently, available automation solutions for tool preparation and distribution are analyzed. The selected solution, in the form of a mobile robot, is then evaluated in detail in terms of technical parameters, integration possibilities into the existing system, and its behavior is simulated in the Visual Components environment. The results provide a basis for decision-making regarding the future implementation of optimized and automated elements into the production process. The thesis concludes with recommendations for further steps.
