Abstract

This thesis contains an explanation of the mechanism of creation of protected job positions. The aim is to analyze some of the problems associated with changes in the provisions of section 78 of Act No. 435/2004 Coll., On Employment and propose their solutions. The thesis is applied directly to the company ČOS – Speciální servis s.r.o., established in Karviná – Nové Město, which is itself an employer of people with pysical handicap. The work is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter provides an introduction to the topic. The next chapter defines the concept of a person with physical handicap, the rights and duties of employers. The third chapter defines the concept of protected job position. The fourth chapter focuses on the impact of changes on the management and activities of ČOS – Speciální servis s.r.o.
