Abstract
Goal of the thesis is to design hydrostatic drive unit of driving Tatra axle. General function description and features of hydrostatic drive unit of front axle and possibilities of its application on different vehicles are described first. In second point, literary research of device used for hydrostatic unit is made. Next point is about design of hydrostatic unit, especially location of the hydromotors on the wheel of the axle, calculations related especially to hydromotor design and strength calculations of the components located in the wheel hub. Conclusion of the thesis consists of pictures of strength analysis results created in computer program based on finite elements method.
