Abstract
The object of bachelor thesis is run-up analysis of the mill wheel system. In the beginning there is description of coal power plant and purpose of the mill wheel system in power plant. Further in thesis there is description of the system composition and hydrodynamic coupling, which is the main subject of the thesis. The analysis is divided into two calculations. Firstly there is run-up of electric motor, which propels the system, followed by run-up of the whole system, which mainly depends on the function of the hydrodynamic coupling. The thesis aims to determine a filling speed of the hydrodynamic coupling so the run-up time will be the shortest possible and also electric motor will operate in operational zone of its torque characteristic.
