Návrh zařízení pro měření tlaku v podkožní tkáni.

Abstract

Master’s thesis focuses on the design of a suitable device for measuring pressure in subcutaneous tissue. Negative pressure therapy is often used to accelerate wound healing in postoperative wounds. During this therapy, negative pressure is applied to remove exudate from the wound, allowing for better tissue healing. However, no study has addressed the question of what the pressure is at different locations within the wound during negative pressure therapy. The first step was to find a suitable device for measurement. Due to the similarity in measurement methods, devices which are primarily used for measuring intracranial pressure were choosen. Based on market research, a suitable device was selected and used for measurement. To conduct the measurement, it was necessary to present the project to the Ethics Committee, which approved the project.
