Abstract
The bachelor thesis addresses the issues of automated discharge and positioning of parts in mechanical engineering production. The initial problem is the current system of uncontrolled falling of finished workpieces into collection bins, which leads to a loss of production time sequence. This condition prevents the efficient deployment of robotic handling and requires a hundred percent quality control of each part.
The aim of the work is the design of positioning devices that will ensure precise alignment of the workpieces for subsequent picking by a robot. The proposed system is intended to enable the storage of parts in numbered positions in transport boxes, thereby maintaining the exact production sequence. The main benefit of this procedure is the possibility of introducing statistical quality control, where measuring only the first and last part of a series will allow declaring the conformity of the entire production batch. The work focuses on the structural design of these devices for two types of workpieces and defines the methodology for their integration into an automated production cell using collaborative robotics.
