Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the air compressor operation worked in the oxygen production technologie. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part introduces the evaluated compressor and its arrangement in named technology. The practical part is devoted to determining the energy characteristics of the compressor and calculations of hydraulic losses in the pipeline network, in order to compare the current state of the compressor with the original characteristics obtained in the manufacturer's test room. Finally at the end of the thesis is a consideration presented of the possible modernization of the compressor or its possible replacement by a new machine.
