Abstract
This master thesis deals with a design and strength calculation of parts of the hand-operated telescopic mounting crab. In the preliminary chapter there is a general description of winches and the next chapter is dedicated to the market research of similar hoisting mechanisms and mounting lifts offered in the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis is dedicated to the choice of the steel rope, the calculation of the pulley and drum, the calculation of guiding rollers and the hand winch which contains the proposal of the gearing, the control of the shaft of the pinion, the control of axis of the rope drum and at last but not least to the control of the bearing. The thesis also includes the calculation of forks and of the telescopic mounting crab, FEM calculation of the telescopic mast and the calculation of the stability. The important parts of this master thesis are the assembly drawing of the telescopic mounting crab and production drawings of the rope drum, telescopic masts and forks.
