Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the research of the use of water jet for visceral surgery. The introduction outlines the issues of existing technologies and their impact on the patient/client. Based on the already available technologies and their impact on the life of the patient/client, a new way of performing these procedures using water jet technology is proposed. Based on already published studies, this method is further investigated for bone drilling, to perform orthopaedic surgery that would have a less negative impact on the patient/client and accelerate his recovery and return to normal life. From the analysis of the current state, the shortcomings of the continuous water jet were determined and a modification with a pulsed water jet was proposed, on which further studies will focus.
