Vliv lidského faktoru při detekci vad letecké konstrukce a materiálů pomocí NDT

Abstract

PODSTAWKA, M. The influence of the Human Factors on Detecting Defects in the Aircraft Structure and Materials using NDT. Dissertation thesis, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Machine and Industrial Design, 2021, 168 p., Thesis supervisor: Helebrant, J. Innovative manufacturing technologies have a significant influence on the aerospace industry. They increase aerospace safety, speed up production and have a positive effect on the economy. One illustrative example of this is the production of a revolutionary composite aileron developed for the training jet, which has to comply with the strictest requirements of the certification authorities to get an airworthiness certificate. The fundamental idea of the anticipated dissertation thesis is to research the influence of the human factors on the probability of flaw detection in the composite aileron, which was manufactured by innovative technology, using non-destructive testing (NDT). The initial chapters of the dissertation thesis deal with the Human Factors and how it can influence the performance or long-term productivity of employees. Furthermore, the basic division of the non-destructive inspection and how the human factors influence NDT performance is described. The thesis also describes the basic concept of the probability of a flaw detection which will be used to evaluate the influence of the human factors during experimental tests. In the next chapter, the solution focuses on the development of a methodology for NDT testing of aileron and collection of the measurement data for creating POD curves. In the end, experimental tests are performed to collect the necessary data, creating POD curves and evaluating the influence of the Human Factors.
