Abstract
This master thesis deals with dynamic analysis of the horizontal cable retaining rescue system in particular, its carrying component with respect to plasticity of the material. At first the dynamic force effects during the person free fall and capture was determined. After that, stress analysis of elasto-plastic carrying component was realized using an analytic method. Thereafter, carrying component was subjected to the quasi-static analysis with elasto-plastic material model. The carrier member was considered based on the results due to the strength and then optimized to reduce weight.
