Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the secondary school economy analysis. It focuses on education levels and school financing system. The Secondary School of Building and Wood processing, Ostrava became a source of this thesis. The bachelor thesis goal is to collect information about economy and to evaluate and specify possible findings, further to classify school financial benefits or negatives and recommend possible solutions and procedures. The cost/benefit analysis of main activities and economy results are provided in the work, too.

The author uses analysis, comparision and the time series methods. Economy analysis data are based on the annual reports and consultations with the school management.

The results of analysis show that the secondary school has a positive outcomes every year. The author recommends several measures, for example increasing insulation of buildings, the office lease and teaching reorganisation of isolated school parts to gain financial funds.
