Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of logistics processes and the shipment management system at Maxion Wheels Czech s.r.o. The study focuses on the Autokola plant, specifically its logistics department. The main objective of the thesis is to examine the current the current state of so-called Forklift steel wheels, intended for a wide variety of industrial and transport vehicles. The thesis also examines in detail the wheel shipping process, which falls under the responsibility of the logistics department. Based on information obtained through a comprehensive analysis of data and processes, identified issues and bottlenecks are subsequently described. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to proposing potential corrective measures aimed at improving the overall performance of the department and increasing the efficiency of wheel shipment operations.
