Návrh podvozku roveru pro soutěž URC

Abstract

The master thesis deals with the structural design of a four-wheel chassis for movement in rugged terrain. Requirements were created from the rules of the URC (University Rover Challenge) student competition, as well as a detailed analysis of existing chassis. At the beginning of the work, a search of general four-wheel chassis with similar dimensions and weights was performed. Furthermore, an analysis of the tasks of the competition and four-wheel rovers from previous years was performed. From these findings, three variants of chassis construction were created. Criteria analysis was used to select the optimal variant. The winning variant was created in the PTC Creo Parametric 7 program and checked by calculations. The control electronics were also designed for the model with attachment to the structure. At the end, a price evaluation was prepared and drawing documentation of individual machined components was prepared according to the requirements of the supervisor.
