Vliv orientace tisku a tepelného zpracování na mechanické vlastnosti PA12 vyráběného metodou SLS

Abstract

In the bachelor's thesis, the influence of printing orientation and post-processing heat treatment on the mechanical properties of PA12 material produced by the SLS method was investigated. The printed samples were divided into three groups based on the heat treatment regime and were further classified according to print orientation angles of 0°, 45°, and 90°. The first group was left without heat treatments, while the second and third groups were subjected to a sixty-minute dwell at temperatures of 176 °C and 187 °C. Prior to mechanical testing, the surface texture was examined using a microscope, and the influence of layering on the resulting microgeometry was monitored. Values for tensile strength, yield strength, and ductility were determined through a tensile test. A print orientation of 90° was identified as the most suitable for achieving maximum strength. A negative influence of heat treatment on the relative elongation of the samples was recorded across all groups. It was demonstrated by the thesis that the response of the material to thermal exposure was significantly influenced by the chosen printing orientation.
