Abstract

Bachelor thesis‘ topic is design of a chain conveyor. Theoretical classification of types of manipulation with materials from several points of view is done in the introduction section of the thesis. Chain conveyors and drives are described more thoroughly, chains are classified and basic principles of chain drive design are laid out. For required load thesis proposes and performs a check of a suitable chain drive which is then used in the conveyor design. Part of the thesis is the drawing documentation which is composed of production and assembly drawings.
