Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the production of rear lights for passenger cars Ford Focus, in cooperation with the company Varroc Lighting Systems s.r.o. The goal of the qualification work is first to analyze the current condition of production assembly lines, to find out in which operations the largest losses of production times occur. Then optimize the production process at the operation so that the time losses in the production process are minimal, without this change significantly affecting the ergonomics of the workplace and the production cycle of the line remains unchanged. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the general theory and terminology characteristic of the selected topic. The practical part introduces the company, which is then followed by an analysis of the actual time consumption on selected assembly lines. The last articles of the work are devoted to the evaluation of the analysis. Following this, an optimal adjustment of the production line was made, which will lead to more efficient production and a reduction of the company's production costs. Due to sensitive information, a technical report was created, which contains all the exact data and values.
