Abstract

This thesis decribes the design of the instrumentred charpy pendulum for testing palstic samples woth impact energy of 25 and 50 [J]. There is outline of the history od testing the impact strength and design process of the testing machne according to 13 802 and ISO 179-2. The design part of the thesis is engaged construction design of the instrumented Charpy pendulum according to ISO 13802 ISO 179-2 and also by the impact energy of the pendulum with 25 and 50 [J]. It shows the design of important design parts Charpy pendulum machine which is: drive, shafts, bearings, etc. The last part is engaged operation of machinery and safety. There is also instructions for replacing the pendulums and the procedure at the start of the actual impact charpy test.
