Abstract

Bachelor thesis is focused on pneumatic semi-rotary actuators and their utilization in pneumatic mechanisms. Classification of actuator types is performed at the beginning of the thesis together with an explanation of their function and design. Followed by an examples of actuator applications along with examples of the actuators involvement in pneumatic circuits. After that, thesis provides an overview of calculation methods according to three big contractors (SMC, FESTO, Aventics). There are also described procedures when using calculation software, which is provided by some vendors at their websites. At the end all information were used for practical solution of application given by bachelor's supervisor.
