Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with cutting forces in negative inserts. Cutting forces of selected inserts (from Dormer Pramet Ltd.) using a KISTLER dynamometer were measured and compared. The thesis also deals with general description of cutting forces measurement, and cutting force measurement methodology. Steel ČSN 12 050 was used. Thanks to this work can Dormer Pramet s.r.o. exclude some inserts from their extensive range.
