Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to determine the differences that the VDA / AIAG 2017 draft sets out in comparison with VDA4: 2012 in the PFMEA methodology. First of all, attention will be paid to the theoretical part, which focuses on current approaches to quality management and consequently analysis of possible consequences of failures. Where the main areas of FMEA are defined as: FMEA objectives, FMEA involvement in the organization, defining FMEA, FMEA team composition, and assistive techniques for FMEA creation. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the practical part. Here is the company that made this diploma work possible. The following is a specific change that will need to be introduced when creating the FMEA methodology according to the 2017 VDA / AIAG draft.
