Abstract
The masters thesis is focused on constructional project for car-type conveyor which is used for transport of piles of profiles from hall to warehouse. Maximal load capacity of the carriage is 10 000 kilograms. Distance length, on which the carriage is moving , is 24 640 milimeters with rail pitch 1 000 milimeters. Recquied rapidity of carriage is circa 3 kilometers per hour. For car-type conveyor I have chosen chain propulsion.
The car-type conveyor with chain propulsion consists of this parts: carriages, railroad track, tensioning station and power station.
Power station contain electric motor, clutch, drive shaft, chain sprocket, bearing housings and frames. Second chain sprocket is stored on powered shaft in tensioning station. Tensioning station further contain tension and frames.
Tha part with calculations is focused on control of chain, design of shafts, control of tongues and bearings and on control of carriage coupling on struts.
