Abstract
The aim of theoretical part of bachelor thesis „Employee Core Competencies Education and Development in a Selected Company” is to explain basic terminology and approaches of core competencies education and development. The thesis is then focused on human resources education and development analysis in the Ostrava City Hospital. The analysis outcome is
a draft of a competency model and overall suggestions and recommendations how to make human resources education and development system in Ostrava City Hospital more efficient.
