Abstract
The diploma thesis focused on suitable draft of revitalization brownfields of the Karnola,
the former textile factory in Opava. The komplex of the buildings is abandoned for over 15
years and its appearance disturbs the character of the city. The original idea of the owner
was build an administrative and hotel komplex Riverside from the former textile factory.
The Established price of the Riverside in 2000 was 750 000 000K. This work is trying to
find the alternative option which would not disturb the character of the city and brought
investor a return of invested funds revitalization and opportunity to buy luxury apartments
for residents.
The main target is to create graphic study of the location, costing of revitalization and
evaluation of the proposed draft. The work is divided in to theoretical and practical parts.
First a tall, this thesis deal swith brownfields and design of houses. Then the practical part
location of interest, the suitable draft of revitalization and results. The final draft is to
create house with common area for residents and spacious garden. Price revitalization of
the building was calculated to be 110 944 352 CZK. Finally theresults of the work are
discussed in conclusion oft his work.
