Abstract

This thesis deals with the streamlining of production of adjustment screw and housing-return valve when the material is made of brass. The work was carried out in the company APATOR METRA Ltd. and addresses the transition from the turret turning machine to the lathe-CNC turning machine tool. This paper describes the problems of machining and deals with the issue of turning, there is also analysed the problem of turning on a cam machine and basics of the CNC machine programming. Thesis also deals with further analysis of existing technologies and proposal of the new efficient technologies. By designing the new technology, new tools have been selected from companies MAV and Pramet tools. There was selected a CNC machine Manhurin KMX 432 which is a high-level machine for machining. In the final part of this work there was compared both existing and new technologies in the form of a slotmachine and there was discovered that the new technology will save considerable time.
