Abstract
This study focuses on the analysis of human gait and fall upon contact with a threshold using a biomechanical model created in ANSYS software. The model includes simplified joints and material properties of the human body. Various phases of the step, loss of balance, and impact on the ground were analyzed, and moments in the joints were examined. The results show that the model is capable of simulating human behavior during a fall, albeit with limitations arising from simplifications and the choice of damping in the joints. The study also investigates maximum moments in the joints and potential injuries. The work provides a useful foundation for further exploration of biomechanics and injury prevention.
