Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with sealing areas of armatures from duplex stainless steel in
MSA a.s. Dolní Benešov. Weld deposits were proposed, performed and advised on the basis
of the theoretical part of the thesis. The weld deposits were performed by manual metal arc
welding (111), plasma arc hard surfacing (15) and gas welding (311). As a result of the
diploma thesis there is a design of protocol WPS a PQR according to ASME CODE Sect. IX,
edition 2010, addenda July, 2010 for sealing areas of armatures from duplex stainless steels,
on the basis of successful results of tests and evaluation of thesis itself.
